Jotunheimen Adventure also offers themed tours in this amazing area.
Along the "round trip" is the opportunity for many activities, such as to join the walk along the pilgrim sled or take part in rafting, horseback riding etc..
LOCAL TOURS:
Jotunheimen Adventure offers short trips in the local community, with a focus on nature and culture.
It's just the little things that make the big pictures, and that collectively make our area the wonderful experience it is.
We have selected some small beads, easy hike for 1 to 3 hours.
JOTUNHEIMDAGEN 2.7.2011 -diversity of experiences:
Jotunheimen Adventure offer a program with an annual mountain challenge, JOTUNHEIMDAGEN 2.7.2011. This day you can enjoy a diversity of experiences in Jotunheimen National Parks. Or enjoy a long weekend, 1 - 3 july 2011. From Friday - Sunday, you may find your self walking at the mountain Glittertind or rafting down the Sjoa river.
BASETOUR WINTER:
Jotunheimen Adventure also offers basetour in Jotunheimen.
There are opportunities for many winter activities, like dogsleeding, go skiing or stand alpine skiing, snowshoeing mm.
TAILOR-MADE ARRANGEMENTS:
Jotunheimen Adventure has long experience in tailoring events and adapt activities and accommodation for small and large groups. Request offer!
ACCOMMODATION:
Grimsdaen, Dovre: Mountain farm loog-hause (sæter) with overnights for 8 persons, 2 bedroom, kitchen and livingroom. Solar panel, propan gas for cooking and woodfire.
Bergsgrenda, Dovre: Mountain farm loog-hause with overnight for 7 persons,
2 bedroom, kitchen and 2 livingroom. Solar panel, propan gas for cooking and woodfire.
Randsverk, Jotunheimen: 1 appartment with overnights for 6 persons, 1 bedroom, 1 livingroom with kitchen. 1 cabin (hytte) overnights for 2 persons.
Who is Jotunheimen Adventure?
Jotunheimen Adventure is a small business activity that is owned and operated by Grethe Høstaker. She has over 20 years experience in facilitating outdoor activities, when she as the first in Norway started with rafting (company NWR) in 1984. She also had nature and knowledge of tourism, and read history.
All this experience and knowledge she wants to share with you, as your personal guide through Jotunheimen Adventure. She has a focus on eco-friendly tours, easy walking tours, where you can experience the best of nature and culture in a fantastic area!
